“Death and dying are something we all have to face at some time in our lives. I experienced it as a young child. If my experiences can help others, that’s what makes me happy.”
She loves all forms of motor racing, especially drag racing—the joys of having big brothers! She works casually at The Bend; it’s her happy place when work is crazy.
In her spare time, when she’s not working or at the track, she enjoys peace and quiet at home, watching silly, light-hearted shows—all so she can laugh out loud!
When asked what she would like included at her own funeral, Susie says: “I don’t fancy a big, sad funeral. I would like a big dinner with all of my friends and family attending—a feast, but no deep-fried food anywhere to be seen.”
