We had Geraldine and she was absolutely amazing and helped me so much with organising my mother's funeral and being my first time, she was so patient & she showed she cared. I really couldn't have asked for better funeral home to help organise the perfect funeral for mum. I highly recommend them.
Everyone at Simplicity Funerals were very helpful and understanding with what we need and what we were going through physical and emotional.
I would like to pass on my thanks and best wishes to all staff from myself and family for a great job they perform. Cheers.
We were greeted with such warmth and understanding, not having dealt with anything like this before.

How long have you been a funeral arranger?
I have been in the funeral industry on and off since 2007. I joined Invocare just over 7 years ago, as a Funeral Arranger. I always wanted to be in the funeral industry, after experiencing the death of someone close when I was a child. The experience was cold and unpleasant and I always thought that if I had the chance, I would do what I could to make anyone else’s experience with losing someone they love a better one that what I had.
What do you like about being a funeral arranger?
The feeling of being able to help people at one of the worst moments in their life and turning that experience into something meaningful is what I like most. I love being able to help families “think outside of the box” in planning a funeral for their loved one. I love being able to see all of the different ideas come together.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare times?
I love sailboat racing in the summer season. I took a sailing course a few years ago and have since been invited to crew on various boats at the yacht squadron in Outer Harbor. When I can, I love to get over to WA to spend time with my nephew. We go on café dates and long walks together.
