Toni has been a Funeral Director with Simplicity Joondalup since 2022.
She says, "It had been a dream of mine for 15 years, and since starting, it has proven to be everything I thought it would be."

We will always remember the care you showed.
We didn’t just get a caring Funeral Director, with Pamela's 18 years of experience, we probably got the best in the business. The attention to detail and care Pamela showed throughout the process meant so much. One of the most touching gestures was Pamela's thoughtful arrangement of the cards Mum had lovingly kept over the years, birthdays, Mother’s Days, Christmas. Thank you to Pamela and Simplicity Funerals for going above and beyond to create a service that truly reflected Mum’s spirit.
During such a difficult time, she made everything feel stress-free.
Toni was absolutely incredible from start to finish. Her compassion, warmth, and genuine care for our family truly stood out. Because of her, we were able to give Rosalyn a truly beautiful and meaningful send-off. Toni, if you see this, thank you. The impact you had on our family will never be forgotten. You made one of the hardest times in our lives that little bit easier, and we are so incredibly grateful.

What do you like about being a funeral arranger?
Having experienced loss and grief, it is a privilege and an honour to help people navigate their grief through the funeral process. I also enjoy being involved in community events that help to inform families of the processes involved in preparing for and arranging a funeral. The team we have here at Joondalup are wonderful, empathetic, and supportive of their grieving families and each other.
What makes your brand special?
Simplicity is a team that believes in making the funeral process as simple as possible for our families while providing the highest standard of care and understanding. We pride ourselves on helping our families give their loved one the send-off they deserve. We are a compassionate, empathetic, and experienced team who all have a strong passion for serving the families in our community.
How do you and your team support families at such an important time?
We support our grieving families by not only taking away as much of the funeral process as we can, but also providing a safe space for them to share their grief, their memories and even their laughter. We help guide them to create a send off that truely celebrates the life of their loved one.
What gives you strength in this work?
I could not do this work without the support of my family and the incredible team here at Joondalup. Everyday we work with grief and loss, and it is only natural that this effects us. Knowing that we can all lean on each other, support and encourage each other, makes that alot easier to bare.v
What do you enjoy in your spare time?
In my spare time, I enjoy doing arts and crafts, camping and fishing, renovating, and spending quality time with my family. My family includes my husband and daughter, but also a menagerie of pets—dogs, a rabbit, a cat and a bird.
What makes Simplicity Funerals special?
A team that is passionate about helping to simplify the funeral process for families without sacrificing the quality of care or service.
What’s the most remarkable funeral you’ve ever arranged?
Every funeral is remarkable and memorable in its own unique way. I have done a pyjama pant funeral, a hawaiian shirt funeral and some of the simplest funerals filled with nothing but love. But probably the most remarkable for me has been my Dad's. We held it at the local town hall in Muchea, just up the road from his house. Had native flowers for the local area, a pine coffin with the name of his boat down the side of it. It was perfectly him.
