How long have you been a funeral arranger?
I have been in the funeral industry for 18 years; beginning in administration and now in arrangement and management.
What do you like about being a funeral arranger?
There are not many roles/careers in which you are able to truly make a valuable difference, ensuring the right celebration of a life but also supporting grieving families during what can be one of the most emotionally challenging times.
What’s one thing people don’t know about you?
There’s nothing that people don’t know about me, I’m an open book. What you see is what you get! Although some people might not know that I am an active lived experience speaker in suicide prevention and support as well as an ambassador for Beyond Blue and several other suicide prevention organisations.
What makes your brand special?
At Simplicity Funerals we help you celebrate a life in a simple, respectful but still individual manner. We understand that it doesn’t need to cost the earth to give your loved one a unique farewell and that it’s all the little thoughtful touches that don’t necessarily cost anything, that make a world of difference.
Extremely professional and handled everything in order for our family to grieve and support each other in our time of need. I now know I will prepay my own funeral with Simplicity and give my immediate family the same courtesy as my loved one just did for me. Thanks especially to Jenny for intuitively knowing what our family needed and streamlined the process.
