What do you like about being a funeral arranger?
I enjoy making a difference and helping families. It’s my job to ensure that this very important day in their life goes to plan and that the family has a stress-free experience. I love working alongside the people in our team, it’s teamwork that makes a funeral seamless for a family.
What do you like about your local area?
I love the climate, I enjoy the heat in summer and the cold in the winter (best of both worlds). I enjoy heading up to the Sunshine Coast for a break and I love the excellent restaurants in Ipswich and the surrounding areas as there is many different cuisines to try.
What makes your brand special?
There are many things that make Simplicity Funerals special, including the experience of family and our team. Simplicity Funerals makes the process of arranging a funeral simple so families can focus on other things. This can be unchartered waters for some families and they look to us for guidance.
We have the experience behind us, and we have been serving the community for decades. We have the knowledge and capability to provide professional services for families whatever their needs should be.

What do you enjoy in your spare time?
My garden is my happy place where I think and reflect as some days can be really tough but in saying that – I wouldn’t choose any other career. I love my job and the people I work with.
What’s the most remarkable funeral you’ve ever arranged?
A Service where the everyone got dressed up in superheroes and a family member painted the coffin with this theme in mind. It was an occasion filled with sadness but there was so much love around from everyone for the Family.
What's one thing people don't know about you?
I have Two Fur Babies – Poodle and Beschoodle. I love their unconditional love-when I have had a really sad or tough day I go home and they put a big smile on my face as they are always waiting to see me at the gate.
