I telephoned Simplicity Funerals the day after my husband, Steve, passed away.
From that first point of contact and throughout the process of planning and attending Steve's funeral service, the team at Simplicity Funerals extended great kindness, patience and understanding to my sons and I at a time of shock, sadness and grief. We felt supported and guided at every step in fare-welling and celebrating the life of husband and father. I highly recommend Simplicity Funerals Tweed Heads.
I couldn’t be more grateful for the care they provided.
Simplicity Funerals Tweed Heads recently looked after my Uncle’s funeral. The simple graveside service last Wednesday was perfect—beautiful, respectful, and exactly what our family hoped for. Craig, our celebrant, spoke with warmth and sincerity, and Adrian and Victoria were wonderful stewards throughout the day. Everything ran smoothly, and their professionalism and compassion made a difficult time a little easier. Highly recommended.

What do you like about being a funeral arranger?
The opportunity to work closely with families and being able to arrange a memorable funeral is truly a blessing and honour. It's a stressful and vulnerable time for family and friends. To be able to assist the family with navigating though the funeral process, in their time of need, is extremely rewarding.
What do you like about your local area?
I am proud to say I'm a local Gold Coaster. I attended school here and all my family live on the Gold Coast. The weather is great and we are surrounded by great beaches and parks. Not to mention the relaxed lifestyle with great weather, cafes and restaurants.
What makes your brand special?
As per our name, keeping it simple!
When the time comes, families need experience and flexibility of being able to make well informed decisions without complexity or surprises down the track. Our packages are simple and easy to understand, whilst providing each and every family the opportunity of tailoring a persoanl funeral that suits their finances and individual needs.
What’s the most remarkable funeral you’ve ever arranged?
A recent funeral where the whole family were show performers with considerably talent in singing and dancing. The mother was quite elderly and all she wanted was for all her family to complete one final farewell performance for her daughter at the cemetery. The performance involved top hats and a cane and was quite the experience.
It was an emotional and moving experience with the farewell song and dance as a tribute before the coffin was lowered.
What's one thing people don't know about you?
Travel. I have worked and lived overseas for over 10 years. Lucky enough to have spent most of this time throughout most of Asia. Travel is so much fun and whenever my wife and I have the chance, we are packing out bags for a weekend away.
