- Chapel - A chapel that seats 80 guests, with additional standing room for 50 guests.
- Viewing room - Our onsite chapel can be used as a viewing room for friends and families that wish to privately say goodbyes to a loved one.
- One arrangement room - Where you can meet with one of our funeral directors in a calm and quiet environment to arrange the details of the funeral.
- Reflection lounge - Gather with your family and friends after the funeral.
- Audio-visual equipment - Option to play music and videos during the service.
- Funeral webcasting - Available at our funeral home where the funeral service is live streamed and recorded for family members and friends to be part of the service if they are unable to attend in person.

Meet Tina.
Tina has lived in Northern Rivers for over 25 years. She joined Simplicity Funerals in 2021, bringing over 30 years of business experience. With a background in chaplaincy and wellbeing, she is dedicated to supporting families through difficult times.
What do you enjoy about your job?
Helping families navigate funeral arrangements can be stressful and difficult. By explaining the process and understanding their expectations, I can ease their burden and help them plan with confidence. When a family thanks me with a smile, I know I’ve helped honour their loved one.
What was your most memorable funeral?
There have been many memorable funerals, but I’m always inspired when families bring personal items to display. These touches create a unique and meaningful experience, allowing friends and loved ones to connect, reflect, and gain a deeper understanding of the life being celebrated. Witnessing these moments of connection and remembrance is truly special.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I love cooking bold, flavourful dishes, camping, fishing, and gardening. Weekends are spent with family, at church, or volunteering.
What do you do for your community?
Passionate about giving back, I’ve organized fundraisers like Jeans for Genes Day and a car wash for a local dance studio. 2025 will be Simplicity Funerals’ Maclean 5th birthday, a great milestone.
Thank you to Tina Young and Jenny Tesar for the beautiful send off they gave Raewyn at the Maclean Simplicity Chapel. Tina, Jenny and the team were professional, supportive and made a difficult day so much easier.
