What’s the most remarkable funeral you’ve ever arranged?
One service that has stayed with me was for an elderly gentleman who passed away after a long, full life. His family had lost touch over the years, and no one had a clear idea of what he would have wanted. We were able to piece together his story through old photos and letters he’d written to family members, finding moments of joy, struggle, and love he had kept hidden. The funeral ended up being a beautiful celebration of his life, bringing the family together in ways they hadn’t experienced in decades. It was an incredibly emotional moment when they all gathered and shared stories, healing old wounds. It reinforced to me how funerals can not only help with closure but can help reconnect people when they need it most.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
Honestly, my life can be full-on, but I thrive in the chaos. I love spending time with my kids they keep me grounded and entertained! I’m big on making memories with family, and I enjoy anything that lets me unwind a bit, whether that’s binge-watching something good, having a laugh with friends, or diving into the next little creative project.
