The below terms and conditions refer to the “Lowest Quote” and “Completely Satisfied” arrangements as per the Simplicity Guarantee™.
1. Lowest Quote - Simplicity Funerals will better any written quote you have received from another funeral service provider based on the following conditions: (a) The services in the quote are comparable to a Simplicity Funerals single or dual service funeral, (b) The funeral service providers quote is no more than 30 days old, (c) The funeral service providers quote is on an official company letterhead, (d) The funeral service providers quote is not a no service no attendance funeral. The Simplicity Guarantee only applies to at-need funerals or a funeral needed now. Please contact Simplicity Funerals today if you wish to discuss a quote.
2. Completely Satisfied - (a) If you are not completely satisfied with the services provided by Simplicity Funerals for your funeral, Simplicity Funerals will refund to you the professional fees you have paid for those services. However: (i) the refund only applies to at-need funerals or a funeral needed now; (ii) the refund only applies in relation to the professional fees charged by Simplicity Funerals and does not apply to any third party costs; (iii) the refund only applies where you have notified Simplicity Funerals that you are not completely satisfied, providing a copy of the paid invoice with date stamp within 30 days of the date of the funeral. The Completely Satisfied arrangement does not apply to reasons outside Simplicity Funerals’ reasonable control, including but not limited to extreme weather or any other force majeure event. (b) If you wish to make a claim under this arrangement please contact Simplicity Funerals using the contact details below. You will need to provide to Simplicity Funerals a copy of your invoice from Simplicity Funerals for the professional fees. (c) Costs incurred by you in making a claim under this Completely Satisfied arrangement (such as postal or telephone costs) are at your expense. (d) The Completely Satisfied arrangement only applies to at-need funerals occurring during the period on which these terms and conditions are available on the webpage https://www.simplicityfunerals.com.au. (e) The benefits conferred by this Completely Satisfied arrangement are in addition to all other rights and remedies in respect of the services which a consumer has at law. This Completely Satisfied arrangement relates to Simplicity Funerals’ services only. However, in the event Simplicity Funerals has provided you with goods the following statement applies: Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
