Catholic funerals

Simplicity Funerals partners with local parishes and clergy, to offer services that balance simplicity with religious respect. These relationships serve us well in arranging for a minister to conduct the service, bless the coffin with Holy water and incense, and say Mass with prayers for the deceased. A final ritual, the rite of committal needs to occur at the burial site, which is also attended by a priest. Following the funeral, mourners usually gather to remember, honour and celebrate the life of the person who has died and your Simplicity funeral home can help arrange an appropriate family gathering to allow this to happen.

Our funeral directors know that certain rites and rituals need to be conducted in order for the Mass of Christian Burial to be properly completed, including the family Vigil.
