Lions Recycle for Sight Program
The Lions are one of the world's best known community organisations and the Recycle for Sight program is one of their most important initiatives. Eye glasses are collected, repaired and cleaned, and then sent to communities in the developing world where they are distributed to people who otherwise would have no access to them. A simple pair of eye glasses can literally have a life changing effect for the recipient.
Simplicity Funerals assists this program through the placement and promotion of eye glasses collection boxes in our funeral homes and around our communities.
Together with the help of the community, Simplicity has sent thousands of eye glasses to the Lions for distribution to communities currently without access to the medical services or the funds required to address vision impairment.

Legacy is one of Australia's best regarded community organisations. Established in 1923, the organisation supports the families of deceased veterans from all branches of Australia's Armed Forces.
Made up of volunteers, Legacy today is dedicated to caring for and assisting 115,000 widows as well as 1,900 children and dependents with a disability.
Simplicity Funerals supports Legacy's fund-raising activities, supports Legacy's volunteers with coping with grief information, and gives our customary care and support to the families Legacy supports whenever it is needed.
